Objective: Build a digital campaign platform that empowers and amplifies the voices of STARs (Skilled Through Alternative Routes) — individuals without 4-year degrees — and drives action from employers, organizations, and the public.

1. Brand-First, Story-Led Design
The site opens with a cinematic hero section that immediately connects emotionally with visitors. Bold fonts, powerful imagery, and impactful messaging deliver the campaign’s mission clearly.
2. CMS-Driven Dynamic Content
A flexible CMS was used to manage stories, partner organizations, downloadable resources, and pledges. This allowed the campaign team to update content quickly without a developer’s help.
3. Interactive Engagement Features
Key features include:
A pledge form with a real-time counter.
Custom shareable social story cards.
Scroll-based animations and video embeds that explain the concept of the “paper ceiling.”
AR tools and toolkits available directly from the site.

Distinct landing sections were built for multiple audiences — STARs, employers, workforce orgs, and researchers — each offering tailored actions, resources, and toolkits.

Challenges
Combining Storytelling with Functionality
Challenge: The campaign needed to balance emotional storytelling with functional tools (pledges, resource downloads, AR effects), without overwhelming users or sacrificing performance.
Solution: The team used Webflow's CMS and native Interactions smartly—pairing animations with static fallback states and minimizing external script usage. CMS collections were structured with conditional visibility, enabling a tailored experience based on user intent.
